Why SSI TechXR

SSI will enter the technical diving market with the official launch of the SSI Technical Extended Range program. It will be abbreviated (and appears in logos) as “TXR”. The TXR product launch includes four courses. The courses are: Technical Foundations, Decompression Procedures, Normoxic Trimix, and Advanced Decompression.

• It is a simple way to integrate technical training into a current recreational course structure. Interested students are given the opportunity to start working towards their technical rating from the first day of their Open Water Course.

• The TechXR program encourages staff development and promotes instructor continuing education.

• Market surveys have shown that 6 - 10% of the existing divers are interested in technical diving itself and a much bigger percentage is interested in simply knowing more about decompression diving.

• TechXR offers all possibilities to satisfy dive leaders and customers needs - All you need to do is – Go Xtreme!

TechXR products and courses will be available January 2007.
