SSI European Service Center and DAN Europe have formed a strong cooperation in the field of Emergency Training throughout most parts of Europe. SSI will promote DAN programs as their primary Emergency Training programs but also recognize the programs of other agencies. Due to the fact that Concept Systems Inc. – the development company of SSI – has stopped the REACT RIGHT Program SSI was in need to replace these programs with a quality emergency training agency in order to close the gap. DAN Europe was the best solution as their reputation in the diving market is unquestionable. Also DAN Europe sees a lot of opportunities related to this new cooperation with one of the biggest and most successful training agencies in the industry. Both agencies seeing a great potential in this cooperation and they are looking forward to work together. SSI members will get a special SSI Member Package for the authorization to teach the following programs: DAN Basic Life Support Provider Course, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for Scuba Diving Course, DAN Oxygen Provider Course. The DAN Basic Life Support course (BLS), represents entry-level training designed to educate persons in providing Basic Life Support techniques to adult victims with life threatening injuries, while activating the local medical services. DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries represents entry-level training to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better recognise possible dive-related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and / or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility. DAN Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for Scuba Diving course represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better recognise the warning signs of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and administer first aid using Basic Life Support techniques and an Automated External Defibrillator while activating the local emergency medical services, (EMS) and / or arranging for evacuation to the nearest appropriate medical facility. |
